About Dr Darryl
Dr Darryl Cross is a clinical and organisational psychologist who is also an accredited coach, an author, international speaker and guest university lecturer.
He is a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a Professional Member of the Career Development Association of Australia, a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and an accredited Executive and Personal Coach.
Darryl has worked for the Australian federal government as a vocational psychologist, been a senior tutor in psychology at the University of Queensland in Brisbane for 7 years and lectured full-time in the Masters courses in psychology at Macquarie University in Sydney for a 3-year period. More recently, he taught “Leadership Dynamics” in the MBA Program at the University of South Australia and Torrens University.
He has been in his own private practice for more than thirty years. He consults with a range of clients including people in both the private and public sector. He also coaches widely for adolescents as well as leaders and managers and has had clients nationally across Australia as well as in Dubai, Canada and Ireland for example.
He has written numerous academic papers in refereed journals, writes frequently for the popular press and is the author of several other books on parenting as well as titles such as “You’re a New Leader: So Now What?”, “How to Stop Your Self-Sabotage: Steps to Increase Your Self-confidence,” and “In Pursuit of Success and Happiness: A Practical Guide” (all on www.amazon.com and www.amazon.com.au).
Darryl has given countless seminars and workshops on a variety of topics and his talks and presentations have taken him around Australia as well as to the USA, UK, and South-East Asia.
